District Email Issues
If you have attempted to email any one in the Goshen Local School District since Monday, April 9 there is a good chance you have not received a reponse. We would like to apologize as we have been experiencing a problem with the district email server and we have not be able to receive or send email. Hopefully we will be back up and running soon.

Sports Physicals will be available at Goshen High School—For your convenience, Goshen Family Practice will be giving sports physicals at Goshen High School from 3:00-6:00 on May 23rd.......
Kindergarten Information Night & Registration Dates
Kindergarten Information Night was March 6, 2012 at 7:00pm.
If you missed it and your child will be five years old by August 1, 2012, please stop by the Marr/Cook Elementary Office (6696 Goshen Road) to pick up a Kindergarten Enrollment Packet and schedule a time to register your child for kindergarten. Opening Day Parade- High School Marching Band
The Goshen Marching Band is very excited about playing in this year's Findlay Market Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Parade! This annual tradition has been going strong for 93 years! The parade will be on Thursday, April 5th at 1:00pm. The parade is usually televised on local tv from the live camera at Fountain Square.

Wheels for Austin
The Student lead campaign for a new wheel chair for Junior Austin Jackson has meet the $15,000.00+ mark! Lead by business teacher Mrs. Karen Wilder and the Anthony Munoz "Make a Difference" program, this project has become both a school and community wide effort to raise $30,000. There will be a special presentation of The Glass Slipper on March 24, at 2:00 p.m. at GHS. All proceeds go to Wheels for Austin. The cost is $3.00 for students and $5.00 for adults for this performance.
Chaz Gresham State Champion
Congratulations to Chaz Gresham on his 2nd straight State of Ohio Wrestling title. Chaz won the 182lb Divison 2 title Saturday night after winning the 189lb Division 2 title last year. Watch Chaz wrestle his way to the title.......
Senior Citizens Dinner
In honor of the Senior Citizens within the Goshen community, the Goshen Community and Staff Public Relations Committee will sponsor the annual Senior Citizens Dinner on May 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Spaulding Elementary. The theme this year is “Then and Now”. Senior Citizens are asked to provide pictures of themselves from the past, as well.....

OSBA Business Honor Roll
The Goshen Board of Education recognized many local businesses at halftime of the Boys Varsity Basketball game on Friday, January 20th. The following businesses and organizations were on hand to be thanked for their continued support of the district’s schools; Alpha Omega, BP of Goshen, Becks Hardware, Domino’s Pizza, Eastgate Bowling Lanes, MPG Catering/Heritage Hall(The Pappas Family), Goshen Chamber of Commerce, Goshen Gardens, Goshen Police and Fire Departments, Goshen Horse Thief Detectives, Goshen United Methodist Church, Ken Klosterman, Petermann Transportation, Skyline Chili, and Tri State Juice.The night started with a reception.....
$20,000 Duke Energy Grant Awarded to Goshen Local School District
Warren Walker and Todd Frank from Duke Energy were on hand at the December 12th Board of Education Meeting to award Goshen Local Schools a $20,000 grant through the Duke Energy Foundation. The grant dollars will be used to purchase IPads that will support the district's efforts with our STEM education programs. Goshen Local Schools completed an online grant ......

Due to the current economic conditions and the reduction of funding from the state and federal governments, the Goshen Board of Education voted in April to implement a plan to reduce the operating budget.......
