First download and decorate your Flat Stanley from below. Then take him to a place you might travel this summer. It does not have to be out of state. Rather, it can be local as well. The goal for next year is that every grade level will read one book from the series of Flat Stanley. Every child will decorate their Flat Stanley, write a letter and send them to family friends across the USA, or even the world. Their family and friends will take pictures of Flat Stanley where they live and send them back to the kids. This will teach the students letter writing skills and various geography lessons about our country and maybe around the world!Every grade level will have one map in their hallway to mark where their Flat Stanley's have traveled. Once all the pictures have been gathered we will put together a DVD to show the night of the fifth grade music program,The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Jr. This will allow the students and community to see how SES got involved in the Flat Stanley project.
