My name is Charlie Mirus. This is my eighth year teaching, all of which have been at Goshen High School in the area of English. I graduated from Xavier University with my undergraduate degree in English and a minor in Professional Education. Continuing my education, I received my Master's of Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Along with all of the other great teachers at the high school, I am looking forward to a great year with the GHS students.
I currently teach English 9 and English 10. This year our goal as a building and district is to, again, earn an excellent rating on the Ohio State Report Card, and to pursue higher achievement for all students, regardless of ability level. If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me using the below information.

In addition to my classroom teaching, I am the sponsor of the Goshen Game Club. The club is an exciting opportunity for students to share their common interests in various types of games (video games, board games, card games) in a school-friendly, yet competitive, environment. I am looking on building on the strong first year that Game Club experienced last year. I have placed a link for the Game Club at the bottom of this home page.
If you have any questions regarding this, or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me using the information found above that contains my e-mail address and my phone number here at school.
I appreciate you visiting my wiki page. If you are a parent or guardian of a student in my classes, I encourage you to send me an e-mail (email@example.com) and let me know that you were able to visit and view the information provided. Doing so will allow me to also send you an e-mail and keep your contact information available for any type of parent contact I might have to make to you concerning your child's performance, behavior, or work in my class. The links below provide access to wiki pages for both my English 9 and my English 10 classes. I update both class's weekly calendar pages every week in an effort to keep parents up-to-date on what is being learned and done in each child's English class.English 9English 10Goshen Game Club (Join Today!!!)
