Each week your child will be given a homework folder. This folder will come home on Friday and will need to be returned on Thursday. All papers are due at this time. Failure to return the homework folder will result in a homework alert for each assignment. After 6 homework alerts a demerit will be given. Additionally, every 3 assignments missing after the initial 6 will result in another demerit. Extra copies are kept in the classroom throughout the week. Therefore, there is no excuse for your child not to have his/her homework. You will generally find a reading packet, a math packet, spelling word list, and Time For Kids pamphlet and workpage. From time to time your child will also be given larger projects which will have a longer due date. I would highly recommend completing a little each night.
