Not only was Goshen High School recently ranked as one of the top high schools in Ohio, according to U.S. News and World Report, but two other Goshen buildings received  high marks as well.

In its latest rankings, the magazine put Goshen Middle School in the top nine percent in the state, and Spaulding Elementary in the top ten percent.

To formulate its rankings, U.S. News & World Report uses criteria such as graduation rate, college readiness, the breadth of college prep curriculum, performance on state assessments and other measures for high schools.

For the middle and elementary level, schools were assessed on their shares of students who were proficient or above proficient in their mathematics and reading/language arts state assessments.
