Goshen Local Schools Business Advisory Council (BAC) is being honored among a select group of school districts and Educational Service Centers for bridging classroom learning and real-world experiences.
GLSD BAC was named one of Ohio’s 2024 Three-Star Business Advisory Councils, demonstrating excellence in developing professional skills for the future, building partnerships and coordinating experiences for student success.
Business Advisory Councils throughout the state of Ohio have been rated for their exceptional work in building strong partnerships to instill professional skills for future careers and coordinating experiences for students.
This year’s award addendums were scored by Ohio Excels, Ohio Restaurant Association, Ohio of Workforce Transformation, Ohio Hospital Association, and the Office of Career Technical Education with the Ohio Department of Education.
Ohio is proud to be home to over 110 Business Advisory Councils. These locally focused partnerships convene education and business leaders to engage in dialogue, build trust, and identify strategies that transform the student learning experience.
Goshen's BAC Council was also honored as a Three-Star Council in 2023.
Additionally, both the Goshen Local Schools Business Advisory Council and its partners received accolades from the Ohio School Boards Association and the Great Oaks Career Center, highlighting their dedication to advancing education and career opportunities for students.
