The Board of Education of the Goshen Local School District (“Owner”) is soliciting qualifications from professional design service firms for Facilities Master Planning services. This solicitation will be conducted in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.65 to 153.73.
This work is focused primarily on: Creating a Facilities Master Plan for the District that addresses the needs of all school district buildings. Current facilities include 8 different properties.
The School District currently has approximately 2,800 students in grades PreK-12. Enrollment is projected to increase due to continued residential development in the School District. The Goshen community is rapidly growing, with more than 1,200 homes scheduled to be built and six neighborhoods already under construction. Goshen Township hosted the 2024 Homearama in collaboration with the Homebuilders Association of Cincinnati. According to the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, Goshen’s school buildings are already over capacity. The district is projected to grow by hundreds of students in the coming years and is proactively planning for the expected growth.
The Goshen Local School District Board of Education is seeking professional design services for Master Planning. The School District is interested in developing a facilities master plan for determining how to use and/or modify its current facilities, consisting of eight separate buildings, to accommodate anticipated increases in enrollment and particularized services to students and general growth and maintenance of the same. This may include renovations and modifications to existing space and facilities and the erection of new facilities. Interested firms are invited to submit a statement of qualifications to Troy Smith, Director of Operations, by 12:00 p.m. on November 8, 2024. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
If you are interested in being considered for this Project, please submit a statement of qualifications to Troy Smith, Director of Operations, by 12:00 p.m. on November 8, 2024. Submissions shall be sent via email to smitht@goshenlocalschools.org. Please include in the subject line “(firm name) Statement of Qualifications for Goshen Local Schools” with your submission, or any communications with the District. Submissions should be in strict response to the information requested herein and should not include additional promotional materials. In accordance with R.C. 153.70, interested firms may not include in their submissions any form of fee estimate, fee proposal, or other estimate or measure of compensation. Doing so will result in disqualification from consideration.
