The office of Student Services has been designated to handle inquiries regarding the districts non-discrimination policies, to receive discrimination/ harassment complaints from members of the school community, and to monitor the district’s compliance with state and federal non-discrimination laws and regulations.
This office monitors and inspects compliance with applicable federal and state laws relating to the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title IX, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1974, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964, including compliance with the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and related Board policies.
The Office investigates allegations of unlawful discrimination, harassment, retaliation, Title IX violations, and non-compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
The Office conducts training for administrators relating to the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title IX, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1974, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Office also clarifies and interprets District policies and procedures relating to these federal laws.
Annual Public Notice Of Career And Technical Education Opportunities
Each year, the Goshen Local School District offers career and technical education programs at Goshen High School. These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment and training services and are offered under the guidance of certified teachers, counselors, and Great Oaks.
